At The John Warner School we are proud to be a school that has provided a first-rate education to young people in Hoddesdon since John Warner built a school for children of all classes and religious beliefs in 1841. Secondary transfer evening for year 7 entry in 2027

The Secondary Transfer Evening for Year 7 Entry in September 2027 will be held on Wednesday 16 September 2026.

Headteacher's speeches will be at 5:45pm and 6:45pm.

School tours

Tours are available to book by emailing admissions@johnwarner.herts.sch.uk.  Tours commence from Monday 28 September for two weeks until Friday 9 October.

Uniform & Equipment

Supplementary Information Form(SIF)

Despite the instruction on the Herts application form, Supplementary Information Forms are only required for pupils applying under the Technology Aptitude Test criterion or Children of Staff criterion. A SIF is not required for all other applicants not applying under the aforementioned criterion.
