We are looking to recruit a pastoral support worker to join our pastoral team.

Start date: December 2022
Post: Full-time 37 hrs per week term-time only, permanent position
Salary: H3-4 (scale points 5-9) depending on experience and qualifications + £914 fringe allowance FTE

Cover Supervisor

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisor.

Some parts of the cover supervisor role involve explaining the work and providing support for the students so that they can carry on learning even if their teacher is away.

The successful candidate will be provided with training in health and safety, first aid and other duties.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

Experience of working with 11 – 16 year olds GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or the equivalent qualification) A sense of humour combined with a firm, no nonsense approach.

Food Technician - 

to support the food & nutrition team.

Are you interested in food and looking to support a growing subject and team?

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and reliable part-time Food Technician to help supervise and set up practical classes.

As a food technician you will

  • assist the food teachers in preparing and clearing away materials and equipment
  • Sometimes assist with demonstrations and practicals
  • Assisting with the maintenance of health and safety standards
  • Manage and order ingredients

The successful candidate will be provided with full training in health and safety, first aid as well as the school ordering processes.

Ideally the successful candidate will have:

  • Experience of working with 11 – 16 year olds
  • GCSE Maths and English at grade C or above (or the equivalent qualification)
  • An interest in food and positive outcomes for young people.
  • Be organised and be able to work independently
  • A sense of humour combined with a firm, no nonsense approach.
